Drainer grooves are a feature cut into a solid countertop to help water drain off the countertop into the sink. Several grooves are milled into the countertop surface, serving as a permanent draining board.

  • Approved for 20 and 30 mm Caesarstone quartz, Caesarstone MineralTM  and Caesarstone ICONTM surfaces (not 13 mm) with the guidelines below
  • Not tested or approved for Caesarstone Porcelain.

Guidelines

Fabrication

  • Maximum groove depth 4 mm
  • Maximum groove width 5 mm
  • Minimum distance between grooves 6 mm
  • Do not create draining grooves on joins between slabs

Care & Maintenance

  • The draining grooves may be more sensitive to staining than the rest of the surface; it is therefore important not to allow dirt and residue to dry out in the grooves.
  • Clean according to the Caesarstone Care & Maintenance guidelines.
