Gas Fire Pit

Gas fire pits provide both heat and ambiance with an adjustable flame that ignites quickly and allows easy control of the temperature and flame height. They provide outdoor heating for increased comfort in exterior spaces.

• Approved for Caesarstone Outdoor and Caesarstone Porcelain with the guidelines below
• Not approved for indoor Caesarstone quartz, Caesarstone Mineral^TM or Caesarstone ICON^TM surfaces

Guidelines

Fabrication

• Create the horizontal surface out of one piece of Caesarstone Outdoor/Porcelain.
• For Porcelain – remove 50 mm (2”) of the fiberglass mesh backing from the edge of the Porcelain adjacent to the fire pit.
• If the horizontal surface around the fire pit is joined to another horizontal or vertical surface – whether Caesarstone or another material – there must be a minimum of 30 cm between the outer edge of the fire pit (with or without lip) and the join.
• Create a minimum cutout corner radius of 10 mm for Caesarstone Outdoor.
• Create a minimum cutout corner radius of 20 mm for Porcelain.
• Allow a minimum gap of 10 mm for the insulating material between the application and the surface.

Installation

• Installation is to be performed only by an installer experienced in fire pit installations.
• Use appropriate insulating material between the application and the surface.

Usage

• Maximum 40,000 BTU output for fire pit.
• Prevent contact of hot stones with the surface.
• Do not operate the fire pit when there is dirt/food on the surface in order to prevent burning/staining.

• Use according to the manufacturer’s safety instructions.

Caesarstone provides warranty for applications fabricated from Caesarstone surfaces, and for Caesarstone surfaces in which products are installed, provided that those appliances and applications are approved for use by Caesarstone, and installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, Caesarstone fabrication and installation guidelines, and any additional guidelines relating to those appliances and applications.
